Kevin D. Brown was born and raised in the Fredonia/Dunkirk area of Western New York. Mr. Brown entered the Boiler Maker trade right out of high school and eventually became Journeyman/Welder. He continued to work in the steel construction industry for eleven years until being injured in a construction site accident. Upon sustaining the career ending injuries, Mr. Brown returned to school at SUNY Fredonia where he graduated Magnum Cum Laude. Mr. Brown next attended and graduated from the University at Buffalo Law School.
Since entering the practice of Law, Mr. Brown has focused his practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security, and Personal Injury. He has litigated cases involving slip-and-falls, motor vehicle accidents, premises accidents, and construction site accidents. The education, skills, and real life experience gleaned while employed as a construction worker is regularly utilized in the investigation and litigation of clients injured in construction site accidents.
Having experiencing the often confusing aspects of Workers’ Compensation Law, Social Security Disability Law, and New York Labor Law first hand, Mr. Brown regularly guides the injured worker through the maze of legal requirements associated with these laws and counsels clients on the financial, social, and interpersonal impact that a sudden and unexpected injury can have on an individual and their family members.
These qualities emulate the goals of the Law Offices of James E. Morris and enhance the quality and outcome of our client’s cases.
