James M. Maloy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, at the University of Pittsburgh in 1974. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence in 1979. He was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1980. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. Although the primary focus of his practice over his career involves the representation of personal injury plaintiffs, Mr. Maloy’s twenty-eight years of practice includes experience in handling estates, real estate, business, and bankruptcy matters.

Mr. Maloy is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and its Negligence, Elder Law, and Practice & Procedure in Surrogate's Court Committees.
